The slippery pulse rolls like pearls one after another—coming and going with fluid ease, returning forward smoothly.
Flowing and fluid in arrival and departure, like pearls rolling across a tray—round and smooth beneath the fingertips. The pulse wave is vigorous and rounded, with even rhythm.
Chiefly indicates phlegm-rheum, food accumulation, and excess heat; also signals pregnancy. In healthy young adults with abundant qi and blood it may appear as a constitutional normal pulse.
