The dried whole plant of Hedyotis diffusa (Rubiaceae). Cold, bitter and sweet, entering the Stomach, Large Intestine, and Small Intestine channels. Clears heat, resolves toxicity, disperses masses, and drains dampness. A folk remedy for snakebite; in modern practice widely used as an adjunct in oncological support.
