Barbat Skullcap

The dried whole plant of Scutellaria barbata (Lamiaceae). Cold, pungent and bitter, entering the Lung, Liver, and Kidney channels. Clears heat, resolves toxicity, disperses stasis, and drains water. A folk anticancer herb commonly paired with Bai Hua She She Cao; modern research supports potential antitumor activity.
