The dried root of Cyathula officinalis (Amaranthaceae). Enters the Liver and Kidney channels. Sweet, slightly bitter, and neutral, it focuses on invigorating blood, dispelling wind-damp, and freeing the joints, in contrast to Huai Niu Xi which emphasizes Liver-Kidney supplementation.
