The dried ripe fruit of Tribulus terrestris (Zygophyllaceae). Enters the Liver channel. Pungent, bitter, and slightly warm, it pacifies and courses the Liver, dispels wind, and brightens the eyes. Commonly used for Liver-yang headache and dizziness, red eyes with pterygium, and wind rash. Also known as bai ji li (White Tribulus).
