The dried whole plant of Spirodela polyrrhiza (Lemnaceae). Cold and pungent, entering the Lung channel. Light and floating in nature, it excels at disseminating wind-heat, venting rashes, and stopping itch; also promotes urination to reduce edema. Effective for wind-heat exterior patterns, incomplete measles eruption, and urticaria.
