The dried tuber of Dioscorea bulbifera (Dioscoreaceae). Enters the Lung and Liver channels. Bitter, cold, and mildly toxic. It excels at transforming phlegm, dissipating binds, and resolving goiter, while also cooling the blood and resolving toxicity. CAUTION: This herb has confirmed hepatotoxicity; clinical use requires strict control of dosage and duration.
化痰散结、消瘿
煎服5–15g。不宜久服,一般不超过2周。外用适量。
