The dried ripe fruit of Cannabis sativa (Moraceae). Enters the Spleen, Stomach, and Large Intestine channels. Sweet and neutral, it is the representative moistening laxative, with a mild nature that moistens dryness and lubricates the intestines without injuring upright qi. Suitable for elderly, postpartum, and constitutionally weakened patients with intestinal dryness constipation, as in Zhang Zhongjing's Ma Zi Ren Wan.

一次性过量服用(60g以上)曾有中毒报告,表现为恶心呕吐、肢体麻木、烦躁不安。严格控制用量,打碎后入煎以利吸收。
