The dried body of silkworm larvae (Bombyx mori) that have died of infection by Beauveria bassiana fungus. Enters the Liver, Lung, and Stomach channels. Salty, pungent, and neutral, it both extinguishes internal Liver wind and dispels external wind-heat, while transforming phlegm and dissipating nodules. Used for convulsions, facial paralysis, sore throat, and scrofula.
祛风止痉,化痰散结,疏散风热之力较强
缓和药性,矫正气味,便于内服
煎服3–10g;研末吞服,每次1–1.5g。散风热宜生用,余皆炒用。

白僵蚕,味咸。主小儿惊痫夜啼,去三虫,灭黑黯,令人面色好,男子阴疡病。
