木防己(防己科 Cocculus)含双苄基异喹啉生物碱,具镇痛、抗炎、降压作用。须与汉防己(粉防己 Stephania tetrandra)区分,与广防己(Aristolochia 马兜铃科,含马兜铃酸,已禁用)区分。
Mu Fang Ji (Cocculus, Menispermaceae) contains bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloids with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and hypotensive effects. Must be distinguished from Han Fang Ji (Stephania tetrandra) and from the banned Guang Fang Ji (Aristolochia, nephrotoxic aristolochic acids).
木防己苦辛寒,祛风止痛,利水消肿。使用时须确认为防己科,避免使用含马兜铃酸之广防己。
Bitter-acrid and cold; dispels wind, alleviates pain, and promotes urination. Use only verified Menispermaceae material; avoid aristolochic-acid-containing Guang Fang Ji.
广防己(马兜铃科)含马兜铃酸致肾损害和尿路上皮癌,国际多地已禁用。
Guang Fang Ji (Aristolochia) contains aristolochic acids causing nephropathy and urothelial carcinoma; banned in multiple jurisdictions.
