The dried caulis of Sinomenium acutum (Menispermaceae). Enters the Liver and Spleen channels. Bitter-pungent and unblocking, it dispels wind-dampness, unblocks channels and collaterals, and disinhibits water, commonly used for wind-damp joint swelling and pain.

Bitter-acrid and neutral; dispels wind-damp, frees the collaterals, alleviates pain, and promotes urination.
