New to this? Read about Four Natures & Five Flavors and Channel Tropism
The dried vine stem of Polygonum multiflorum (Polygonaceae) — the same plant as He Shou Wu but using the stem rather than the tuberous root. Also known as Ye Jiao Teng. Enters the Heart and Liver channels. Sweet and neutral; nourishes Heart blood, quiets the spirit, dispels wind, and frees the network vessels, used for vacuity-type insomnia and blood-deficiency wind-damp joint pain.
Reference range for non-pregnant adults. Not a personalized prescription. Pregnancy, lactation, and pediatric use require specialist supervision.
Protective guidance only — when to avoid or use with caution. This block deliberately omits pregnancy, lactation, and pediatric dosing: any such use must be managed by a qualified TCM practitioner or appropriate specialist.
