The dried siliceous concretion (tabasheer) formed inside the nodes of Bambusa textilis and related bamboo species (Poaceae). Enters the Heart and Liver channels. Sweet and cold, it excels at clearing heat to transform phlegm and cooling the Heart to settle fright. It is a key herb for pediatric phlegm-heat fright wind, often combined with dan nan xing and zhu sha.
清热豁痰、凉心定惊
煎服3–9g。研末冲服每次0.6–1g。
