The shell of Arca subcrenata, A. granosa, or Scapharca spp. (Arcidae). Enters the Lung, Stomach, and Liver channels. Salty and neutral, it dissolves phlegm and stasis, softens hardness and dissipates binds, and controls acid. Commonly used for goiter, scrofula, and hyperacidity.
