The dried ripe seed of Vaccaria segetalis (Caryophyllaceae). Enters the Liver and Stomach channels. Bitter and neutral, it invigorates blood and unblocks the channels, and is renowned for promoting lactation, as the classical proverb says: 'Pangolin and Vaccaria — once a woman takes them, milk flows freely.'
