紫河车含多种免疫球蛋白、激素及生长因子，具有增强免疫、促进造血及调节内分泌作用，但传染病风险与伦理问题限制其使用。
Zi he che contains immunoglobulins, hormones, and growth factors; provides immunoenhancing, hematopoietic, and endocrine-regulating effects, but infectious disease risk and ethical concerns limit its use.
2015年后已从部分临床使用中退出，药典仍收载但使用受限。
