Treatment Principle

增液润肠

Increase fluids and moisten the intestines

Cardinal Symptoms · 主症

dry hard stool difficult to pass
defecation once every several days
dry mouth and throat

Secondary Symptoms · 次症

abdominal distension
halitosis

Etiology · 病因

Heat disease damaging fluids, fluid depletion from aging, or postpartum blood loss.

Pathomechanism · 病机

Large Intestine fluids are depleted and the intestinal tract loses its moisture.
