清利肝胆湿热

Clear and disinhibit Liver-Gallbladder damp-heat

Cardinal Symptoms · 主症

distending pain in the hypochondrium
bitter taste in the mouth
jaundice of the eyes and body
scant dark urine

Secondary Symptoms · 次症

nausea and vomiting
abdominal distension with poor appetite
damp eczema and pruritus of the genitalia
fever

Etiology · 病因

Damp-heat accumulating in the Liver and Gallbladder, or external invasion of damp-heat evil.

Pathomechanism · 病机

Damp-heat accumulates in the Liver and Gallbladder, the Liver fails to course and discharge, and bile overflows.
