Treatment Principle

温补脾肾

Warm and supplement the Spleen and Kidney

Cardinal Symptoms · 主症

persistent diarrhea, or fifth-watch diarrhea
aching cold low back and knees
cold pain in the abdomen
pale white complexion

Secondary Symptoms · 次症

physical cold with cold limbs
facial puffiness and limb edema
inhibited urination

Etiology · 病因

Prolonged Spleen vacuity involving Kidney yang, or Kidney yang vacuity failing to warm the Spleen.

Pathomechanism · 病机

Spleen and Kidney yang are vacuous, warming transportation fails, and water-dampness overflows.
