气阴两虚证

Cardinal Symptoms · 主症

• shortness of breath and reluctance to speak
• mental fatigue and lack of strength
• dry mouth and throat
• heat in the five hearts or low-grade fever

Secondary Symptoms · 次症

• spontaneous sweating and night sweating
• lusterless complexion
• palpitations

Etiology · 病因

Qi and yin both damaged in the late stage of heat disease, or prolonged illness consuming qi and yin.

Pathomechanism · 病机

Both qi and yin are damaged; the organs lose nourishment, and vacuity heat arises internally.
