Cardinal Symptoms · 主症

vexation and insomnia

red tongue with scant coating

Secondary Symptoms · 次症

scant dark urine
thin and rapid pulse

Etiology · 病因

Shaoyin contracted evil transforming through the heat pathway; yin vacuity with yang hyperactivity.

Pathomechanism · 病机

True yin is insufficient; vacuity fire flames upward.
