Treatment Principle

温阳补气

Warm yang and supplement qi

Cardinal Symptoms · 主症

fear of cold with cold limbs
pale white complexion
mental fatigue with tendency to curl up
copious clear urine or scanty urine with edema

Secondary Symptoms · 次症

bland taste without thirst
loose thin stools
spontaneous sweating

Etiology · 病因

Congenital insufficiency, prolonged illness damaging yang, or yang decline from aging.

Pathomechanism · 病机

Yang qi is insufficient; warming function fails and yin-cold prevails internally.
