The bound pulse is moderate with intermittent pauses—when solitary yin prevails and yang is about to perish.
The pulse comes slowly with occasional pauses that follow no fixed interval.
Indicates exuberant yin with constrained qi, cold phlegm, and blood stasis. It also appears in exhaustion of qi and blood with debilitated heart yang.
