Tongue body pale; surface smooth with scanty or entirely absent coating, dry and lacking fluids.
主气阴两虚；既有气虚不能生血上荣，又有阴液不足不能濡润舌面。
Indicates dual deficiency of qi and yin; insufficient qi fails to generate blood, while depleted yin fluids cannot moisten the tongue surface.
