Bai Jiang Cao contains saponins, iridoids, and volatile oils with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, sedative, and tissue-repair effects; a principal herb for draining pus.
败酱草辛苦微寒,清热解毒,消痈排脓,祛瘀止痛。
Acrid-bitter and slightly cold; clears heat, resolves toxin, expels pus, and invigorates blood to stop pain.
