Deng Xin Cao contains luteolin-type flavonoids and phenanthrene derivatives with diuretic, sedative, antibacterial, and antioxidant effects.
灯心草甘淡微寒，利尿通淋，清心降火，为心烦失眠夜啼常用药。
Sweet-bland and slightly cold; promotes urination and clears heart fire; used for irritability, insomnia, and pediatric night-crying.
