地骨皮

Dì Gǔ Pí

Lycium Root Bark

清虚热药寒cold 甘sweet

茄科植物枸杞或宁夏枸杞的干燥根皮。性寒味甘，归肺、肝、肾经。善清虚热、退骨蒸，兼能清肺降火，为治阴虚发热之佳品，与枸杞子同源而功用迥异。

凉血退蒸Cool the blood and abate steaming
清肺降火Clear the Lung and direct fire downward
生津止渴Generate fluids and relieve thirst

阴虚发热，骨蒸盗汗Yin-vacuity fever with bone-steaming and night sweats
肺热咳嗽，咯血Lung-heat cough with hemoptysis
内热消渴Internal heat with wasting-thirst
