海蛤壳主含碳酸钙和甲壳素,煅制后碳酸钙含量增高,具有中和胃酸、祛痰及软坚作用。
Clam shell consists mainly of calcium carbonate and chitin; calcination increases calcium carbonate content, providing antacid, expectorant, and mass-softening activities.
清肺化痰,软坚散结,制酸止痛。煅制后制酸力佳。
Clears the Lung and transforms phlegm, softens hardness and dissipates binds; calcined form has superior antacid effect.
