海金沙含黄酮苷、脂肪油和钾盐，具利尿、排石、抗菌和解痉作用，常用于石淋热淋。
Hai Jin Sha contains flavonoid glycosides, fatty oil, and potassium salts with diuretic, stone-expelling, antibacterial, and antispasmodic effects; used for stone-type and heat-type painful urinary dribbling.
海金沙甘寒，利尿通淋，为沙石热淋专药。
Sweet-cold; promotes urination and dissolves stones; a specific remedy for sand-stone and heat-type strangury.
