Indigo Naturalis

清热解毒药寒cold 咸salty

爵床科植物马蓝、蓼科植物蓼蓝或十字花科植物菘蓝叶经加工制得的干燥粉末或团块。性寒味咸，归肝、肺经。善清热解毒、凉血消斑，多入丸散或外用，不宜入汤剂久煎。

温病热盛，发斑吐衄Warm disease with intense heat, macules, hematemesis, or epistaxis
小儿惊痫Pediatric convulsions and epilepsy
口疮咽痛Mouth sores and sore throat
