本草Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma

土茯苓

Tǔ Fú Líng

Glabrous Greenbrier Rhizome

清热解毒药平neutral 甘sweet 淡bland

百合科植物光叶菝葜的干燥根茎。性平味甘淡，归肝、胃经。善解毒除湿、通利关节，明代为治杨梅疮（梅毒）之要药，今广泛用于湿热疮疹及关节肿痛。

梅毒及汞中毒Syphilis and mercury poisoning
湿热淋浊，带下Damp-heat strangury with turbid discharge, leukorrhea
痈肿疮毒，湿疹瘙痒Abscesses, toxic sores, eczema, and itching
