New to this? Read about the Sovereign-Minister-Assistant-Courier hierarchy
From the Jin Gui Yao Lue, this treats blood impediment. Modified from Gui Zhi Tang by removing Gan Cao and adding Huang Qi, the formula uses Huang Qi to augment qi and secure the exterior as sovereign, Gui Zhi to warm channels and free yang as minister, Bai Shao to harmonize blood, Sheng Jiang to disperse cold, and Da Zao to augment qi — together augmenting qi, warming channels, and freeing impediment.
