The dried root bark of Morus alba (Moraceae). Enters the Lung channel. Sweet and cold, it drains Lung fire to calm wheezing and regulates the water passages to promote urination and reduce edema. It is particularly suited for Lung-heat congestion with cough and dyspnea, and for wind-water or skin-water edema. Featured as a primary herb in Wu Pi Yin and Xie Bai San.

煎服6–12g;泻肺利水生用,肺虚咳嗽蜜炙用。
