The dried tuberous root of Lindera aggregata (Lauraceae). Enters the Lung, Spleen, Kidney, and Bladder channels. Pungent and warm, it moves qi, disperses cold, and alleviates pain while additionally warming the Kidney and consolidating urine. Its representative formulas include Tian Tai Wu Yao San for cold-qi hernia pain and Suo Quan Wan for Kidney-yang vacuity enuresis and urinary frequency.
