The dried capitulum of Inula japonica or I. britannica (Asteraceae). Enters the Lung, Spleen, Stomach, and Large Intestine channels. Zhang Zhongjing's Xuanfu Daizhe Tang pairs it with dai zhe shi for focal distention below the heart with persistent belching. Must be decocted wrapped in cloth.
