旋覆代赭汤

Xuán Fù Dài Zhě Tāng

Inula and Hematite Decoction

The representative formula for Stomach vacuity with phlegm obstruction and qi counterflow failing to descend. Xuan Fu Hua paired with Dai Zhe Shi — one light, one heavy — descends qi and transforms phlegm; combined with Ren Shen, Gan Cao, and Da Zao to augment qi and supplement the center, the formula supports the right while descending counterflow.
