• body heat worse at night
• vexation and insomnia
• intermittent delirious speech
• faint macules and papules

Secondary Symptoms · 次症

• paradoxically not very thirsty
• clouded consciousness

Etiology · 病因

Warm pathogenic qi is transmitted internally from the qi level into the constructive level, or enters the constructive level directly, with heat scorching the constructive yin.

Pathomechanism · 病机

Heat enters the constructive level; the constructive yin is scorched, the Heart spirit is harassed, and blood vessels overflow outward.
