Scattered like willow catkins drifting in the wind, its comings and goings without order, its beats impossible to count evenly.
Floating and diffuse, without root, with uneven beat count. Light pressure reveals a dispersed, drifting quality; slightly firmer pressure and it is gone. The pulse form fails to gather.
A critical sign indicating original qi dispersing and the essence of the zang-fu in collapse. Most often seen when heart qi is nearing exhaustion and the organs are failing.
