Wu Jutong's formula from the upper-burner chapter of Wen Bing Tiao Bian for mild external warm-dryness. It treats mild fever, thirst, dry nose and throat, dry cough without phlegm or with scant sticky phlegm, a red tongue with thin dry white coating, and a floating rapid pulse. This data entry contains five herbs; the complete formula also includes dan dou chi and li pi (pear peel).
