十枣汤

Shí Zǎo Tāng

Ten Jujubes Decoction

From the Shang Han Lun, this is the most powerful water-expelling formula. Three harsh water-driving herbs — Gan Sui, Da Ji, and Yuan Hua — form the core, tempered by ten jujubes that augment qi and protect the Stomach. Indicated for repletion patterns of copious water-rheum such as suspended rheum and edema.
