四逆汤

Sì Nì Tāng

Frigid Extremities Decoction

The emergency formula for yang collapse and devastation from the Shang Han Lun, composed of fu zi, gan jiang, and zhi gan cao. It restores yang and rescues from desertion. It must be strictly distinguished from Si Ni San (which shares only the name but contains entirely different herbs) used for yang constraint patterns.
