真武汤

The Shang Han Lun representative formula for warming yang and promoting urination. Composed of fu zi, bai zhu, fu ling, bai shao, and sheng jiang, it treats Spleen-Kidney yang vacuity with internal water-qi stagnation causing inhibited urination, heavy painful limbs, abdominal pain with diarrhea, edema, cold limbs, and a deep fine pulse; also for excessive diaphoresis causing persistent fever with palpitations, dizziness, and trembling.
