The dried mature seed of Prunus persica or P. davidiana (Rosaceae). Enters the Heart, Liver, and Large Intestine channels. Bitter, sweet, and neutral, it is a widely used blood-invigorating herb that dispels stasis while also moistening the intestines and unblocking the bowels. Paired with hong hua in Tao Hong Si Wu Tang for enhanced stasis-breaking action.
