呕吐是胃失和降、气逆于上所致的病证。实证多因外邪、食滞、痰饮、肝气犯胃；虚证多因脾胃虚弱、胃阴不足。
辨证要点：寒呕吐清水、畏寒喜暖；热呕吐酸苦、口臭便秘；食滞呕吐酸腐、嗳气厌食；痰饮呕吐清水痰涎。
