川芎茶调散

Chuān Xiōng Chá Tiáo Sǎn

Ligusticum-Green Tea Powder

The representative formula for headache from externally contracted wind. It assembles multiple wind-dispelling analgesics, each guiding to a different channel, treating headaches across all channels. Taken with green tea, whose bitter-cold descending nature restrains the upward-scattering tendency of the wind herbs.
