New to this? Read about the Sovereign-Minister-Assistant-Courier hierarchy
From Yu Genchu's Revised Popular Guide to the Discussion of Cold Damage, this treats Shaoyang damp-heat with phlegm turbidity. Qing Hao and Huang Qin clear and vent Shaoyang damp-heat as sovereigns, supported by Ban Xia and Chen Pi to harmonize the Stomach and transform phlegm, Zhu Ru to clear heat and stop vomiting, Zhi Shi to move qi, and Fu Ling with Hua Shi to percolate dampness — the standard formula for Shaoyang patterns in warm disease.
