Cardinal Symptoms · 主症

• heaviness of the head and body with fatigue
• afternoon fever
• chest oppression and epigastric glomus
• cough

Secondary Symptoms · 次症

• pale yellow complexion
• no thirst or thirst without desire to drink

Etiology · 病因

Damp-heat pathogen enters via the mouth, nose, or body hair and invades the upper jiao Lung and defensive qi.

Pathomechanism · 病机

Damp-heat obstructs the upper jiao; Lung qi fails to diffuse, defensive yang is trapped, and dampness obscures latent heat.
