The Shang Han Lun formula for warming the middle and directing counterflow downward. It treats four different presentations across the yang-brightness, lesser yin, and jue yin: Stomach-cold vomiting after eating, vomiting and diarrhea with cold counterflow and vexation, dry retching with drooling and vertex headache, and post-meal vomiting from Stomach-cold. Composed of wu zhu yu, ren shen, sheng jiang, and da zao.

上四味,以水七升,煮取二升,去滓,温服七合,日三服。
