猪苓汤

Zhū Líng Tāng

Polyporus Decoction

The Shang Han Lun formula for water-heat mutual binding with yin damage in yang-brightness and lesser yin disease, presenting as inhibited urination, fever, thirst, and vexing insomnia. Unlike Wu Ling San, this formula emphasizes promoting urination and clearing heat while concurrently nourishing yin, making it suitable for yin-vacuity heat patterns with water stagnation. Composed of zhu ling, fu ling, ze xie, hua shi, and e jiao.
