Stranguria presents with urinary frequency, urgency, painful dribbling urination, and lower abdominal cramping. The disease site is the Bladder and Kidneys, with damp-heat accumulating in the Lower Burner.
Key differentiation: Heat stranguria has burning painful urination with dark urine; stone stranguria has interrupted urination with gravel; blood stranguria has hematuria with obvious pain; qi stranguria has lower abdominal fullness with difficult voiding.
